Rogue's Quarry - 7DRL

Rogue's Quarry is an in development roguelike about hunting down randomly generated monsters for a bounty.
Numpad or Arrow Keys for movement.
Press G to pick up an item.
Bump into enemies to attack.
This is a submission to the 2024 7DRL. Currently I wish to expand this idea and make it into a more serious and fleshed out game. Once I create the first version of that prototype I will link it here. Come back later to check it out! For now this version is very rough, so it is more proof of concept. Keep that in mind and enjoy it as such.

How goes your work on this project?
Good actually! I just got back from a vacation so I'm back into working on this again. Admittedly a lot has changed from the initial idea, but I still think the end result will be in the same spirit. I've updated everything with a sprite sheet I've made and added tons of new features. The silence is mainly due to the fact that I'm pretty bad at documenting and showing off the work I do. In case you are wondering what it looks like now, here are some screenshots! Once I am satisfied enough to release a second private alpha release, I'll write another blogpost with an update on everything. Thank you for checking in!
